So I'm currently on my first re-read of book 7. It had een years since I read the series for the first time and I've enjoyed this re-read so much! The only thing I remembered was the very end, but all the rest was stored away in some deep, dark corner of my memory. Every single book has been amazing to read again, even the first one, which I remember not liking much when I first read it.
