Don't you love it when you think a book is taking you one way and then it takes a sharp turn down another!

"According to Greta's numbers, 37 girl, in this school alone, were being abused by thwir fathers."-- That's actually wrong for US where it's 1in5 girls abused and 3in4 of those by somebody they knew. So it's more often than this book suggests.

I feel so much has happened in not half the book. You need a lot of energy for this one.

An excellent paragraph-long commentary on the darkest of male privileges in a book baring women's oppression.

You know that moment when a character is close to doing something really stupid and you're holding your breath and cussing them out and begging them to not do it....

A suspicious character is being super suspicious. This book is working on my adrenaline. I like it!

I can't stress enough how great the storytelling voice is.
