Book 8 in the re-read of this series, which I've realized is clearly my favourite book series. I love the characters, the stories, the (frequently active) appearances of famous actors and public figures, and the writing style.
In this one, Toby is help out Mae West, as a favour to his brother (who somehow knows her). Something to do with Mae's tell-all manuscript being stolen and ransomed.
