An unconference is a gathering of peers who have similar goals, challenges, and ideas. It is not populated by talking heads, gatekeepers, and the masses beneath them. It is easier to be open with people you perceive as your equals, and an unconference is a level playing field of knowledge in which all have the right and responsibility to contribute.
