It's 1775, and Washington is general and commander of the army. But it's not really an army: it's a collection of militias from the colonies, made up of dirty, shabby farmers who know little of fighting and less of order. Washington, who prizes cleanliness and order, wrote in a letter that is life has become "a continued round of annoyance and fatigue".

Washington is described by many of his officers and other peers as great at making decisions if given enough time, but not so great at quick thinking. When things didn't go according to plan on the battlefield, he had a tough time. He and I have something in common!

We're up to the year 1774, the Boston Tea Party has just occurred, and Washington is beginning to turn into a Revolutionary. Very exciting! He has also recently made the updates to his house at Mt. Vernon which can still be seen today.
