Another fantastic book in the series. Butcher mixes the day-to-day of a fighting Roman legion with elemental magic and it somehow works brilliantly. Tavi is still a favorite character, although Maximus comes in a close second. I hadn't expected it to end the way it did and I was pleasantly surprised. I just started reading book #5 and can't wait to dig in.
