I'm around 40% now and I like it a lot I have to say. I certainly do NOT like the way Gideon talks to Eddie sometimes and if that continues now that they've started fooling around, it will probably affect my impression of the book as a whole, but so far it's nice; not too angsty, not too light... it's the kind of book I was looking for. And I'm in the mood for stories set in UK, it satisfies that need as well :)
He was a total jackass at times but pretty sure after that huge misstep he doesn't revert back. I hope you continue to like it!!
I'm near 70% now and still liking it I have to say :) I definitely plan to read the rest of the series if they're like this one. Have you read another book from the series that you'd recommend?
I have not had a chance to read more of this series :(If you beat me, I look forward to seeing what you think!!
Ok, will let you know how it goes for me :) PS: I'm not reading much these days, I'm in a 'cleaning' mode that affected my kindle as well, so I spend more time re-orginizing my books into collections than actually reading :P So it might take me a while to get this one finished...
Lol. I totally know how that goes when the organizing bug hits. Hours and hours and hours of rearranging and sorting. Good luck!!
Ok, I finished this one, as well as the second book in the series. I liked the first one much better, it was a bit lighter and while Gideon was a jerk in the beginning, he stopped being one after their relationship took off. On teh other hand, Draven in the second book who was mean to Taylor every single time he was hurt or scared; I couldn't like him at all, but the book as a whole wasn't bad. I'm skipping book 3 as I'm not into crossdressers and going straight to book 4 ;)
Well thank you for the heads up. I'm glad you've continued with the series. Most of the time it's hard to finish anything right? As evidenced by the fact that I haven't moved beyond the first book. Lol.
I agree with you :) I'm a fickle reader myself, making up my mind for which book to read based on my current mood and I often end up wandering away from series. The only exception is when I read a 5 star book from a series, then I usually stick with the series as a whole, looking for another book as amazing as the first was. But I also have no problem reading books from a series based on the descriptions and skipping books in between without remorse :P
