It's decent thus far given it's an assigned book for my Politics of Women's Health course. Katan's experiences with lesbian sex and drugs have grown boring and old to me at this point because I'm still waiting to read a phenomenal lesson or "a-ha" moment. I personally like to learn and grow from reading a book but have yet to experience this with her memoir.
