The Last Oracle is fast paced, yet it is vividly descriptive and at times heart-stopping. Sam’s flawed but courageous personality and sense of humour make him a likeable but, more importantly, believable hero. A man who uses his quick instincts, negotiating prowess and intelligence to save himself and others from seemingly hopeless situations.
