yes. this is exactly what I was hoping for. Stewart has such an ear for dialogue, an eye for mannerisms, a kindhearted way of portraying these broken people. what lovely melancholy. and beautiful prose as well, he is a master of the simile.

this book is, so far, just as fascinating as his adventure series, "The Mysterious Benedict Society", just in a different way.

YES! Finally picked up a copy of this book. After I finish this, I'll have completed everything Stewart has written.
