Julie Graboi Hi Dave! I think I will follow your recommendation. I am reading a book for my composition class called The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg. My students love it, and it sounds similar to your book.

Dave Peiser Hi Julie!
Thanks for writing. I am finding The Willpower Instinct very useful. I think you should check it out. It’s based on a class at Stanford, and each chapter is like a week in class, where you work on something new, and can immediately start using what you’ve learned. It’s based on both research and the experiences of students in the class. There’s some humor too, so it’s an interesting read.
