I just finished reading Nearly a Lady by Alissa Johnson. A lovely slow burn historical. Annie's song by Catherine Anderson, comes to mind also. If you are looking for contemporaries, then Practice makes perfect by Julie James or The hating game by Sally Thorne.

I've never read books by Mariana Zapata but for slow burn romances, I'm thinking of LaVyrle Spencer though it's kind of oldie.

There is nothing quite like Mariana Zapata books right?? Interested to see any suggestions.

You will love Wrecking Ball by P. Dangelico. Her other books are good too:)

I don't know how your search went but I find nothing compares to Mariana Zapata. It's pure magic really. :)

I just finished Wrecking Ball, and it was so good. Definitely had shades of Mariana Zapata what with the Slow Burn and pro athlete. Fabulous rec, Ira!!
