This is getting ridiculous. Quoting -
"The vamp had tied her wrists tied over her head to a beam, wire biting into the tender skin."
"The [vamp's] other arm pinned her left hand to her waist, locking her in place."
If her hands are tied over her head, how is the vamp pinning one to her waist? Once again, the author has lost her place.

Mary Jane throws a book at Dre, but her shoe lands back on the bed beside her. There's no mention of a shoe until it lands on the bed.

Okay. It evened out a little better since I made it to this point and it looks like I'll continue reading. That said.... A COTTONWOOD is a tree. A COTTONMOUTH is a snake. Big difference. Trees don't hiss.

I've never written a partial review before, but this time I feel the need to do so. At this point in the story there are so many glaring continuity errors, I'm not sure I want to continue. Rafer is wolf, the man, then wolf, then man and undressed and suddenly dressed. Lark is face down on the bed, then face up, then face down with no turning over. If the author can't keep track, neither can the reader.
