I’m beginning to wonder if my anxiety is factoring into how I enjoy review copies. The beginning of this book lost me and I keep trying it but I’ve skipped a few chapters and idk if I want to continue but I feel bad that every review copy I’ve gotten lately has pretty much been a dnf...

There were a lot of complex and naval terms I didn’t know that made this chapter confusing. In general, I was lost most of the way through. She’s come from Iran to be a fake nursemaid to get the women out I guess?
