I am on chapter 4 and this is a very insightful book. I got so much from it I bought one for a friend and another for my daughter who is going to be a teacher. I recommended this book highly. My friend really got into it. Our days are so busy so full of noise. I remember as a child that my mother would ask us to be quiet so she could hear herself think. I now know the meaning of this statement.

Realizing that it isn't amassing stuff that makes children happy. It is being present to them and helping them to be present to themselves. I still think the best way to have a mindfulness about ourselves is to turn off the television. Jesus would go to out of the way places to be in prayer. This book might be the light to help someone reach the goal to prayerfulness.
