This is more a four star read, but one whole star for this: I especially appreciated that the character who demonstrated domestic violence wasn't a monster; rather, just an ordinary,,struggling human like the two mcs. He was capable of improvement and change and deserving of regrowing trust. Sincerely trying to become more aware and compassionate. Extremely rare to see in a story, which is a pity.

One of the best h/c I've ever read. Both mains were normal, average, no super careers, super abilities, uber rich. Some fucked up family history, but no extreme, unbearable trauma. They were imperfect. Made fucked up mistakes. But they kept trying, kept growing, and allowed courage and love to happen within and together. And loved each other. Gratitude. Very good character driven story.
