Norton does a great job at bringing you back to your childhood. I smiled so much in these chapters just because of the pure adventure of the book. Experiencing new for children as they grow up is so relatable with her first Borrowing visit. Her way of description is dated but brings you back to an old fashioned way of speaking.

Loved how the boy ends up tearing their roof up and starts bring them furniture. Homily was not having it; but then realized she should benefit from the situation. Gave me a laugh to read these chapters!

It’s an adorable storyline. A story you could read to a child that’s still young & needs a story to expand the imagination. Arrietty has such a vivid personality & it comes across so clear.

What a great read. Easy flow to the storyline & what seems to be characters that keep you focused on what’s happening around them.
