Awesome beginning. I was laughing and really enjoying the outrageous fashion of it all. I'm a little annoyed by Nora. Can't put my finger on it yet, but she just feels a little immature. Or a little too high strung...maybe a little of both. Hero is...interesting. I'm looking forward to learning more about his character. Hoping there's more to the man behind the scandalous reputation.

Ugh! I don't know what it is about this book. I'm flying through it, so I'm not bored with it, but there is something about these characters that is bothering me. I feel like more liberties are being taken because of it being set in America and the time period, which is fine, but I can't put my finger on why the romance feels so flat. I don't know if it's a character or the romance. We shall see how the end goes.
