I'm really trying to let slide the fact that the ancient Japanese doll is called Doru (ドール) or doll in non weibo english. I'm trying to imagine it as a daruma doll to make me feel better about the book.

part way through the first book and I've already found inconsistencies with the Grace's age. She seemed to age 10 years over night.
