Adapting to his new reality was a constant struggle. He had more blah days now than bad or good ones, the headaches were improving. Usually he was able to fight back and conquer the monster of depression, but today…today was bad. Despair had him pinned down.

Even with such a solid support system behind her and around her, after the first ten days came and went without any change, she began to lose hope. She didn’t dare tell anyone or let it show, but the guilt was terrible.

Thoughts so far: BBQ scene was awesome. The chapter with Carm and Vance was TOO long keeping me from Taya's news! Loved glimpse of Tuck and Celida. Banter between HRT guys on plane was PRICELESS!!!
