I really strongly dislike books that jump back and forth in time. Unless they are about time travel. Why can't you tell the story from the beginning?! I love really getting into a story. And then I get gotten out of the flow and need to find out where I am and where we were. That sucks big time.
If I didn't like this story, I would have stopped already. But it's more work than worth sometimes. :(
