Decided to re-read this 126 page version with a purple iris/triffid-like flower on the front cover. Originally priced at 30p in 1974 I got this copy second hand in the Grassmarket from pulp-books.com a few years ago for £4.50 or less.
I can vaguely remember enough to know that I will probably give it 5 stars. Basically I just love everything Jack Vance wrote.
