My, my! What's going on? First Jean-Paul and then Heidi deleted their GR accounts within two days of each other. I hope this isn't going to be a new trend... :((

I hope not. I haven't been very active lately but logged today only to find out that Jean-Paul deleted his account. What a sad news.
Heidi's I noticed this morning, only yesterday she wrote a wonderful review on Walser with paintings from Vallotton. More sad news : ((.

I am preparing a review of one of Erika Burkart's volumes as a kind of farewell to Jean-Paul, but I wonder if anyone will see it. I re-posted Reck-Malleczewen's Tagebuch eines Verzweifelten twice now and it seems that only one person has seen it in the last 6 hours....
Very sad and troubling. As with so many of my GR friends, Jean-Paul opened my eyes to so many topics I would otherwise have known nothing about or would never have appreciated, especially art, music and poetry. I was looking for one of his music reviews when I realized his account was gone. Certainly the saddest moment of my GR year.
