What do you think of it so far? This was my first Mary Roach book, I thought it was a lot of fun.

Mine too — I finished the whole thing in a day. I found her style a nice mix of storytelling, science writing, and amusing tangents. But I can totally see how her style could grate on others.

I also greatly appreciated her silly fondness for people whose names fit their professions, a thread that ran through many of her footnotes.
