I saw this book being mocked on Twitter back in October for being a "Vampire book" with a weird concept or something. I dunno, the back cover was posted and I thought it looked interesting so I ordered a copy from Amazon. I mean c'mon, centuries old vampire dance instructor living on 1980s Chicago falls in love with a shape-shifting aquatic alien presenting as female?? Sounds totally like my jam. So far I love it!
