My review will probably start with: "I was not the target audience for this book..."

on Widgets ... So far, LYAHFGG hasn't helped me as much as I'd hoped it was -- but I'm thinking that's b/c I need more of LYAHFGG first (and also: I'm not sure if this book is all that well-written)

Some very interesting features here -- I esp. like the pattern matching in Hamlet's i18n. (Side note: Fixed my install of Yesod by rolling back to an earlier version of ghc)

cabal install yesod-platform (not ...yesod) -- and but it keeps failing (unsure why) -- which is distracting me from the text

Need some more depth. (So new to Haskell it's not even funny. Having a moment here w/ Haskell like I had w/ Scala last week. "I forgot more than I knew in the first place...")

(some "Haskell is awesome" saber-rattling and posturing in this intro, but I can forgive that...)
