The story's main character is a man with no memories nicknamed Josuke. He's on a quest to get his memories back. Yasuho finds him then the Higashikata family adopts him. He finds out that he is a fusion between two people Yoshikage Kira and Josefumi. The rock disease is a major problem in the Higashikata and the Rokakaka can possibly heal it. But, the rock people are also trying to find it.
