Tedious. Getting better now that it's the only novel I'm reading. Print is small so I can't read much before my eyes get bleary, but I am picking up humor. Marina is so prone to losing things; she cannot keep her luggage, the expensive phones her employer/lover sends her, even the clothes on her back. She completely allows herself to be the victim of any happening but doesn't appear to feel self pity.
