So far the selkie/silkie story is my favorite. The others tend towards folklore and the tired "mermaids will kiss any guy and then leave him" trope. Some build-up before romance please. Not sure how I feel about the story I've started now. Always icky when a 30-ish guy think of a 16-year old child as "beautiful"...
