During this part of the book, Maddy goes outside for the first time but it is only for a little bit because she is trying to protect Ollie from his dad but her Mom immediately pulls her back in side. Later she says that she can’t remember any of this which I was sad about. One of my connections is Maddy has this room full of photos of the ocean. We both really love the ocean even thought she has actually never been.

Through the last pages of the book she runes away with the neighbor to Hawaii so they can see the ocean. After she gets there and spends a whole day outside and in the water in the morning she wakes up really sick and goes to the hospital. After her mom yells at her they go home she gets a call from the hospital and they tell her they don’t think it is SPED so she looks for the files of her SPED and she can't find

In this part of the book, she is still inside but sadly her favorite nurse gets fired. Her mom fires her because she eat the neighbor come inside the house and talk to Maddy.

The best character so far I think is Ollie because I like how he is so nice to her and he doesn’t make fun of her because of her sickness and he really wants to meet her in person. I really want them to meet each other and become good friends.

In these chapters they are showing the house and a new boy moved in next door who she has a crush on. They communicate thought the internet and out her window. They both really want to meet each other in person but they can’t because of her sickness.

They are going over the main character Maddy diseases which is SPED. Sped is a disease where you immune system is weak so that means you can’t go outside. So they have this cool house that protects her. I would says curuios because she always wonders about how outside is like and what it looks like. She’s never been up outside either so she always is just curious about it.
