The story of Watanabe and Naoko is just starting. I like the way Murakami takes me to the perfect place where the story is being carried out. Japan in 1968 seems to be Japan nowadays in my mind, these characters are so real, they live, they feel, they have a past, a present and you want to discover their future in the novel.
