The Delphi bar extension is rooved over a 9 day Xmas holiday with two builders finishing an interior roofing project & Glover enduring his fear of heights.

Now in his mid 40s, the mud brick making begins again with a 12yo Joe keen to add on a bar. Richard muses that second children miss out on some things, so he agrees. They make mud bricks a lot quicker. A year in, Joe’s enthusiasm wanes but the work continues.

The city boys mud bricks pass the test. they build a fence, a she'd and find a use for Pythagoras. Digging the foundation trenches is hard work. The mud house is paused for 18mths while the Glover's move to London. With a new baby, they come home to set up the tent in the snow!
