the devils plan to take down a holy man so that he may not be admitted into heaven. should it be a big sin, or perhaps little sins that slowly turn him away from God...... scary to think that the dark side has meetings about God's elect.

David just successfully brought the ark of the covenant from Cariathiarim to Jerusalem! what a wonderful sight to see the priest bearing it upon their shoulders in full regalea. then the 30,000 musicians, flags bearers, harpes and flutes!!!

a good place to stop and go to bed dreaming of being there 1,000 years before our savior walked through the very city!

wonderful book!

I adore reading the trails of David and learning something new in the processes: he learned to trust completely in the Lord despite literally being stuck between a rock and a hard place, and he has Sisters!!!Why are the women never remembered in the Bible? perhaps just maybe the did not have a heart for their God like David did.

Two chapters in and I am already enamered with this book!
