Did this protagonist just decide that freaking Indiana Jones and Sir Arthur Evans were funny and amusing examples of (fake) archaeologists??? I cannot believe what I’m reading. The only tangible element kept me reading has just been thrown out the window. How does this grad student think what happened at Knossos was “not so bad”. History buff me (who did research projects on Crete) is fuming
