Stephanie Rose’s story was cute but it lacked something for me. Maybe I’m just not into the public-service romances but I don’t have any desire to read any further about this couple. 2 stars.

Ginger Scott is the reason I’m reading this anthology and the one from whom I got the arc. I am not big on YA novels because I like a permanent happily ever after and I feel like in YA they are short-lived at best. However, even though this one took place over the summer, it did have an epilogue that had a three-year fast forward which I much appreciated. Therefore it gets 4 stars instead of 3.

I really liked Stephanie Alba’s story but it’s not in KU so I can’t read the rest right now even though I would really like to. It’s definitely on my wish list though. 3 stars.

Believers by Amanda Richardson is a little too short for me to really get a good grasp on what I would rate it. I need more from the story before I can pass any judgment, so for now I’m not rating it all.

Kayla is one of my most favorite people, so the K Renee story gets 5 stars simply because I love her ❤️ I loved seeing more of the wayward saints and I can’t wait for the rest of the story!

Wait? What?! Emery Jacobs just left me hanging. I want to know more about bow and I hate cliffhangers. There wasn’t even a read more section at the end or anything about how to find the rest of the story. For that simple reason, 2 stars.

I’m one of the few that has never read an Anne Jolin book so I was completely lost at this very short, really synopsis of a story. I felt like it was more of a sample than an actual short story, and I’m not exactly sure what it was doing in this anthology? It felt out of place and not at all like the others. 1 star.

Josephine Brierly (sp?)’s was okay. Definitely mopey and the happy ending happened so fast I felt like I had whiplash. I think it needs to be evened out, and a good editor would also be helpful. 3 stars.

AM Johnson’s story is the BEST thing I’ve read in a LONG while, and I’m so excited to have discovered her that I really can’t say anything besides this anthology is worth buying if only to read hers, and now I’m off to amazon to stalk her. 5 fab stars.

The Pit - I know this book is dark and about suicide and mental health but this story was too dark and too confusing for me and I admit that I kind of skimmed through most of it. 2 stars.
