I'm nowhere near finished this book yet but I already have a lot of problems with it: 1. the constant repetition of the set-up of the World Fair (seriously, it's already been explained around 5 times), 2. the author's knowledge of history outside of the USA can be painful to bear (especially with regards to the UK), 3. this book treats you like an idiot. It's seriously about to tell me what a circus is
