Wow the writing really fell apart in the last act. Near constant grammar errors and now Sydney is "still holding Declan" not even a paragraph after Adrian took him from her.

It's common courtesy to warn the adoptive parents that they're adoptive parents BEFORE abandoning the child at their doorstep. I still think this subplot is plain dumb. Sydney and Adrian are smart enough to convince a kid is their biological son but no one is smart enough to convince others that Olive just hooked up with another guy?

I am over the moon that Sydney figured out they were talking about tattoos. I've had enough logic farts for this apparently brilliant character the last two books.

I do like how they're reinforcing Sydney's re-eduction PTSD. She wouldn't seem so real if she'd gotten out of that mentally unscathed.

I'm not getting over this. They're milking this POINTLESS tragedy that could have been EASILY avoided with BASIC common sense. Olive is so stupid. So unforgivably stupid. I don't even feel sorry for her, I'm just INFURIATED at how unnecessarily stupid she is.
