It is difficult to follow this stumbling story so upon recommendation from a Goodreads review I read the sparknotes. The story synopsis discouraged me from continuing as I did not care for Dickens' storyline. It did not seem worth the trouble to continue. Wish I had stopped 20 pages sooner.
