About time our seemingly invincible main characters are thoroughly deconstructed! The reality of their (mostly Alex's) recklessness slapping them hard in the face. It's also anything but fun to read them be in such lethal danger, but it had to happen at one point or another. I hope they learn from it and I hope Caleb stops being UNDERprotective.

In which Alex, Caleb and Valkyrie all fail at protecting her health from the most reckless moronic risk she has ever taken! I'm afraid this is blowing up in her face spectacularly on the next page. Addiction to portal jumping is a bitch!🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
