It took me a long time to finish this because I put it down a while back and forgot about it. I think I had difficulty at the beginning getting into issues of war, Italy's play in it, and how it all fit together. But I am the kind of person who hates to start something without finishing, so I went back to it. How glad I am that I did.

Herman Wouk, at 102 years old is still making fans of his work! I LOVED it.
