One thing that I really like about this book so far is its ability to make me feel, and experience, the emotions felt by the characters in the novel. So far, I've been furious with Claire's father, just as she has been. I've also laughed with her, and later cried, as she learns of her grandmother's death, and helps the ghost of Susie move on to the other side.
