I actually didn't mind the writing style in this book, however, Greg is a senior in high school and acts like an immature middle schooler. It felt off. I was often surprised with his constant reference towards boobs and his friend Earl who would say obscene things for no reason. It's a pretty lewd book and I just couldn't handle it any longer.
