The history of Iran, as detailed in this book, is fascinating. So far, it has described the formation of Iran into a modern nation-state in the beginning of the 20th century. International Relations students will consider how states are formed, in what works and what doesn't, while reading. Historians and all others will enjoy learning while reading this book, as well. Excellent, overall.
