This book is just as cheesy halfway through as it was in the beginning. It’s a good light romance. I did get a good recipe idea out of it, Dublin Coddle.

It’s still a pretty cheesy love story focusing on a stressed-out L.A. lawyer and some Irish beefcake. The lawyer suffered the death of her “aunt.” An aunt who wrote letters, read by the protagonist infrequently but giving opportune life coach advice… very cheesy.
That said, the dialogue is good, and moves the story along; the sex scenes are minimal, easily skimmed over if that’s your preference.

The book starts out pretty two-dimensional, but the writing style is good. Ending the first chapter staring through a window at a naked man said this author has a sense of humor, so… I read on...
