Hey, slow down. I haven't been reading mine for awhile!

Haha, I feel like I've been going so slow! I want to try to finish it within the next couple days. Then I'll read some Kerouac, as the summer seems to encourage.

I feel like I am going pretty slow to for such a small book. What is Jack all about? Why does everybody like him? Death Cab REALLY likes him.

I know, that's what I mean. And a semi-children's book at that.

I don't know, I don't think I'm as in love with him as most, but it's a good summer read. It kind of captures the restlessness we're all feeling. That being said, and not to generalize, but I've found that it really sticks with guys a lot more than girls. I think you folks have a secret space in you somewhere that Kerouac, and the west, and the road need to fill. Or you can at least aspire to it. It's actually really strange the impact I've seen it has on many of the guys I've known who've read it.

Yeah... I don't know. Well, for one thing, it was way too sci-fi for me, so the plot didn't really interest me that much. And the writing style, which was really funny at first, ending up being just...too much, and I kept thinking, 'okay, I get it, you're cynical and funny, ohh there's another satirical understated remark about how the world sucks'

Whatever. But hey, OK Computer and Paranoid Android. I guess Thom Yorke likes it?
