A lot like the Stephanie Plum books. Harley Jean Davidson(Stephanie)Barry Baroni(Morelli)Bruno Jett(Ranger)Tootsie(LuLu) instead of a wacky grandma you wacky parents. It isnt exactly like the Plum books but close enough in heart that I feel like I'm reading one of her's just with different names and location. I do like it and I don't know if it was meant to be but it feels like a knockoff of a Janet Evanovich IMO.
