I did finish it. Thought I posted a final review. It is a beautiful book. Nadia is so honest and so good at describing the dynamics of the abuse cycle. She also gets to the root of how emotional and physical abuse early in life sets a woman up to expect nothing better for herself. It is almost like a mental illness that a person can't reason their way out of without help.

Praise God that Nadia wrote this book, and I hope lots of women read it. Men, too. Men need to understand how emotional and physical abuse affects the people who experience it.
