I recently bitched about the weird spelling an author uses to impart some sort of Southern accent on a character and how much I hate it.

ONE PARAGRAPH into this story - without anything other than the ubiquitous "ya'll" and referring to his parent's as Momma and Daddy - and I can totally tell this character is from Texas.

That's giving good dialogue! Already earning points from me here Mr. Boehme.
