I don't know how I feel about this dude...

This is heartbreaking. I think the father's reaction is pretty typical of most men, which is infuriating. I do appreciate the realism the author has brought specifically to Michael Mulvaney and how he is placing himself at the center of this tragedy, whether that is his intention or not. He's shown so far to be a good man and a good father, but how he is handling this does not seem like it's going to end well.

I think I see where this is going and I am so sad already.
