Dazzler: The Movie seems to be a cautionary tale. At first I thought Shooter was was just giving Alison a #metoo moment to stereotype Hollywood, but the fact that she later makes love to him (the door is even more suggestive than the gun in holster in Steranko's Nick Fury) only for him to turn around and out her as a mutant is now coming off as more didactic than anything else, especially in light of the Storm scene
